Accrual and Requests

  • New Starters: Employees joining after 1st May accrue holiday entitlement pro rata to their length of service. Only service in complete weeks is counted.
  • Accrual Requirement: During the first 12 months of service, an employee must accrue holiday pay prior to being able to request/take holiday. Employees with greater than 12 months' service may request holiday before payment has accrued.
  • Notice: Wherever possible, give a minimum of 4 weeks' notice when booking holidays.
  • Submission: All holiday requests must be submitted via the Breathe HR system for manager approval.
  • Refusal: Requests may be refused to ensure Deeply Digital is adequately staffed. Management will consider overall flexibility, co-operation, and historical holiday patterns when considering requests.
