Driving on Company Business (Non-Company Vehicles)
- Insurance: If you use your personal vehicle for occasional business use, you must ensure you have adequate business miles/class 1 insurance to cover this purpose.
- Mileage Claim: A mileage allowance will be paid for all business miles done in a private vehicle, subject to prior authorisation, and paid at HMRC rates.
- Safety: Employees must exercise general safety guidance in accordance with the Highway Code.
