Time off for Dependants
- Employees have a statutory right to take a reasonable amount of unpaid time off work for an unforeseen emergency or event involving a dependant.
- This right extends only to the time needed to make arrangements in the event of an emergency, generally anticipated to be no more than one or two days on each occasion.
- You must contact the Company as soon as reasonably practicable to inform them of the need to take time off.
